Mother's Army

Fire on the Moon (1998)

By far the best of the three Mother's Army albums. It's far heavier than the first two, and also has a different drummer (Ansley Dunbar replacing Carmine Appice), although I don't think that has anything to do with it. Again, like the last one, I can't back up my opinion by saying much else besides I liked it, and it was better than the other two. The link takes you to Jeff Watson's website where you can order it.

The second Mother's Army album is better than the first. I'm not sure how to describe it other than that. I really need to re-listen to it, so I can give it a better write-up.

Mother's Army (1993)

Mother's Army is a band that not a whole lot of people know about. It's odd, because the pedigree of the band is high. The folks in it are Joe Lynn Turner (vocals - Rainbow, Deep Purple), Jeff Watson (Night Ranger), Bob Daisley (Ozzy, Rainbow, Uriah Heep), & Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Ozzy). However, the album is not very good at all. I was disappointed, and I never could make it through the entire album at once. It's also impossible to find, I only have my copy through my friendship with Bob Daisley, I got him to send me one.
