Trespass (2007 Remaster) - Genesis

The first (widely available, anyway) Genesis album came out in 1970, and was one I had never heard until I got the box set in 2008. After listening to it, most of it is stuff that doesn't do anything for me. Except for one track. "The Knife" is killer. Has a nice keyboard riff and some great vocals from Peter Gabriel. By far my favorite song from this album. Nothing from the rest of it jumps out to me at all.

As usual, the interview footage is great on Disc 2, but that's pretty solid across the entire remaster line.

The 2007 remaster series has two discs. The second has a DVD Audio 5.1 mix of the album, plus new interviews, videos, live footage, etc. I got this version of the CD in the 1970-1975 Genesis Box Set. Unlike the other boxes, the indivudual albums were not released on their own. The order link above goes to the box set, which is the only way I know of to get the 2007 remaster.,
