Fleetwood Mac

Well, when I saw this album, I wasn't really planning on getting it. I know the Nicks/Buckingham Fleetwood Mac's heyday was back in the 70's, and some of their 80's output was spotty, so I wasn't sure how well they could write now. I saw it at Best Buy for $9.99, so I couldn't pass that deal up, and I was very pleasantly surprised. There's some really awesome songs on here. I'm glad I did pick it up. This has turned out to be one of my most enjoyed albums I've bought in the last decade.

Two of my favorites in early listening are Murrow Turning over in his Grave, & Miranda. As time went on, I realized that this is solid from front to back. Usually when I listen to CD's I change my habits from listening to the whole album to listening to just the songs I like. When I start playing this, I have no desire to skip anything until
around track 15 or so.

Absolutely solid, probably the best thing Mac has released since Rumours.

When the Nicks/Buckingham version of Fleetwood Mac reunited in the mid 90's, we got the obligatory live album from said reunion concert tour. That's this album. I personally didn't want it (I feel the GH album right above this one is enough), but my wife wanted it, which is why it's here. :)

Fleetwood Mac is one of those bands whose songs I really like, but I never seem to remember when I talk about bands I like. This GH CD was one of the earlier CD's I ever bought (got my first CD player in Xmas 1987), and there's great stuff on here. This doesn't cover the pre Stevie Nicks Fleetwood Mac, but most folks are more familiar with the Nicks/Buckingham versions of Fleetwood Mac, anyway. This CD does it for me.
