D'Arby, Terence Trent

Vibrator (1995)

With this one, I was getting into the habit purchase. I haven't listened to this in ages, and my memory says I didn't much care for it when I first listened. Normally I'd get rid of this, but 8 years later, I wonder if the more adult style of music TTD usually displays would appeal to me again, so I hang on to it. He did have another studio album (2001's Wildcard), but I never picked that one up (in fact, I didn't know it existed until I started working on this page).

Symphony or Damn (1993)

Bought this one after liking the previous one. Again, I don't know how to describe him, so I'll just leave it with I like this one, and I can't offer much commentary on TTD.

Neither Fish Nor Flesh (1989)

TTD had one really big radio hit off of his first album called "Wishing Well" (The Fish album was his second). For some reason I never got his first (1987's The Hardline..)- I had a friend who had it on tape, I generally listened to that. So I picked this one up. I don't know how to describe TTD's music. I used to think of it as "Poor Man's Prince", but that's probably not accurate. His music is definitely some of the more electic choices in my collection.

But some of the most enjoyable, too.
