New Jersey - Bon Jovi

This was Bon Jovi's fourth studio album. I had bought all the three before this (Bon Jovi, 7800 Farenheit, & Slippery When Wet). SWW was the monster hit record, and possibly for that reason I don't have it anymore, I burnt out on it. The first two had 2 or 3 songs that I liked, but I didn't keep them. New Jersey is the only Bon Jovi album I still have all these years later. I can't describe why I like this one, but the few times I've done CD purges over the years, I look at this, and realize I like too many of the songs to dump the thing. It just feels better than the rest to me.

I don't think today's kids would like this album though - it definitely has an 80's hard rock sound to it, no doubt about that. But since I lived through that period, I still enjoy this.
