Badlands
Voodoo Highway (1991)
Badlands' second album. Nowhere near as good as the first. This one is much more bluesier than the first - the first was more straight on rock with a bluesy edge. This one has less of the metal edge the first one had. I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with this album, I just liked the first one so much, that anything that followed it would have a hard time getting much play with me.
Badlands (1989)
I got this album because it's got two folks (Eric Singer, Ray Gillen) in it who used to be in Black Sabbath at some point, and one person (Jake E. Lee) who was in Ozzy's band. With a pedigree like that, I figured it'd be good. I didn't think it would be THIS good. This album is awesome! One of the best album purchases I've ever made. It's extremely great! It's also fairly hard to find now, as it's been out of print for ages. But if you can find it, it's worth the search.
